Penataran Sasih Temple is an old temple as a center of Pejeng Kingdom. It called Penataran sasih because inside the temple there is a big kettle-drum which by the local people called as moon (sasih). The kettle-drum itself was came from the year of 300M which is sacred by the people as a holy thing so that the special place was made to put this. This kettle-drum is like the hip of beautiful girl, with 2m length and made from pure silver with no extension piece, is the largest kettle-drum in the world. The scratch symbolizes 8 faces, and the cover is decorated with stars and circles design.
